I am a writer and a singer/songwriter. I started out writing in my teens. The storytelling aspect hooked me on writing as a primary form of expression. My nephew really inspired this children’s series. I loved science as a child and had even won some state science awards throughout my elementary, middle school and high school years. So I wanted to express some of the excitement I still have around science and wildlife through an engaging educational story.
What is your role in the story?
I think I am more of the narrator.
What is your favorite hobby?
Right now it is a toss-up between crocheting and ice skating.
What is the challenge you’re trying to overcome during the story?
I am trying to really get kids to understand why wildlife is so crucial; and the role we can all take in protecting endangered species.
If you could make one wish, what would it be?
Besides to save the planet…probably bringing balance to nature would be a good winner-up.
