We went down the first flight of stairs, and found Zöe in a small room on the second floor, standing in her bra and underwear, ironing some clothes. Sam and I stood inside the doorway, as Zöe started to explain the sex club. They open at nine o’clock, and expect everyone to arrive about that time. There’s an hour of mingling, meeting people, and matching-up interests. There would be mostly couples, with some additional single females; single males weren’t allowed in the club. Assuming we could find a match for one or both of us, we would retire to one of the special rooms downstairs. Zöe said she hadn’t seen them all, but they included several BDSM and dungeon-themed choices. There was a large open area that featured a small stage with a bed, surrounded by comfortable chairs. Zöe said that some people were more turned-on being more exhibitionistic, and others turned on by being voyeuristic; it was a perfect set up to satisfy everyone.
I asked if everyone was expected to have sex, and Zöe shook her head and laughed, “No. Actually most people don’t actually have sex there, although it’s fine if your partner consents. Condoms are provided, as well as lubricants, and a limited amount of supplies for each room, according to the theme, even including role-play costumes.” Sam looked at me and arched his eyebrows, and I arched mine back at him.
“What are we supposed to wear to the sex club?” I asked, already having a good idea of what I would be wearing tonight. I didn’t have that many choices, and my usual dresses were cute, but hardly sexy enough to wear to a club.
Zöe chortled, “Well, people come different ways. But most people try to dress in a sexy outfit.” She reached over to the chair in the corner of the room and held up a corset, and a very short leather skirt. “I’ll be wearing these tonight. But if you don’t have anything special, you can just wear a simple dress.”
I said, “Actually, Sam and I bought a couple of sexy things in Amsterdam. But I might have to wear a long coat, until I get inside.” I tried to visualize how far down the jacket would go, and decided not far enough.
Zöe shook her head, “No, I usually bring a small duffel bag, and we change after we get to the club. They have a nice changing room, similar to the sauna.” She looked at Sam, and said, “But men and women are segregated.” Then, she added, “Although I have seen men in the women’s changing room a few times.”
That reminded me of something I wanted to mention to Sam; I was surprised he hadn’t already asked about it: My experience with Helga taking me to the restroom. I decided to mention it in front of Zöe, to get her take on it. “When we were with Helga last night,” Sam gave me a sharp look, and I turned to him, “What?” He held up his hands in resignation, and I continued, “Helga took me to the restroom. Didn’t just take me there, but went in with me. We were in adjoining stalls.” I looked at Sam, his mouth open again. “It was pretty strange.” I looked back at Zöe, who continued ironing, “When we finished, we stood in front of the mirror, and adjusted our makeup together. Although Helga uses a lot more makeup than I do.”
Zöe laughed, casually, “Yes, I keep telling Henk that he has to go a little lighter on the makeup.” She put down the iron, and looked at us seriously, “When Henk dresses up, he is Helga. He is a woman; at least he believes that he thinks like a woman and acts like a woman. It’s more than an act; it’s who he is, at least while he’s dressed up and made up. But he still recognizes that Helga is not really who he is; only who he needs to be to get turned on. It’s not schizophrenia, or multiple personality disorder, since he always knows who he is. But it turns him on to ‘be’ Helga occasionally.” Zöe shrugged, “But what do I know? I’m not a shrink. I can only go by what I observe, and what Henk tells me. And we have a very open relationship with each other.”
We followed Zöe into the master bedroom, and continued talking, while she dressed for dinner. I pressed Zöe further, “Do you mind that he thinks of being dressed as a woman, while he’s making love to you?”
Zöe buttoned her top, and said, “Not at all. Most people don’t know what their partner is thinking during sex.” She looked at Sam and back to me, “Do you know what Sam is thinking, when you’re having sex?”
I laughed, “Probably about spanking me, or sticking needles in me. Or maybe spanking my friends.”
Zöe spread her hands, her point made.
Title: European Experience
Author: Simone Freier
Genre: Erotic Romance
Beyond 50 Shades … Way Beyond!
EUROPEAN EXPERIENCE is an intimate exploration of kinks and fetishes by an unlikely couple, with thoughtful and philosophical discussion by the characters, and graphic descriptions of their erotic adventures.
Sam takes Kelly on her first trip to Europe, sharing some special places that are not on the typical tourist route. Sam’s Dutch friend surprises them with a ‘coming out’ party, and Kelly is introduced to a world of sexuality that she had not imagined. The trip is a whirlwind of touring, clubs and cultural experiences that expose Kelly to new perspectives, and a session with a dominatrix brings more surprises. Sam and Kelly reach a new level of shared experiences and love for each other.
The Experiences series is an epic love story of erotic relationships and sexual desires. Written in a ‘literary realism’ style, the series introduces Sam in the prequel, and the blossoming of his intimate relationship with Kelly as the series progresses. Fantasies and real-world adventures coalesce to mold a unique bond between unlikely lovers. Where needs are mutually satisfied in an open, creative and trusting environment. Where physical and mental boundaries are pushed. Where the concepts of love and sex are never confused, but sometimes confusing. Where openness is required and intimacy is expected. And where fair-is-fair, regarding the punishment of transgressions.
Contemporary erotic romance: Suitable for mature readers, aged 18+ years.
Experiences: Book 5 is 132,000 words, 19 chapters, 450 (approx) print pages
This work contains mature content, including graphic sexual descriptions and scenes, and is provided for adults only. The Experiences series contains scenes of psychological and physical submission, discipline, and medical fetish. The characters explore various fetishes, which evolve throughout the series. ALL CHARACTERS IN THE BOOK ARE 21 YEARS OLD OR OLDER, and all activities are consensual.
An adventuress and traveler, Simone is a sensual being who loves to read stories that excite her. She takes exception to authors who promote their works as ‘dirty’, ‘filthy’, or ‘smutty’: She believes that sex is wonderful in all of its incarnations, and doesn’t shy away from graphic descriptions of realistic sexual experiences, no matter how messy. Her writing is mainly in the ‘literary realism’ style – i.e., it is wild (even outrageous) … but could really happen to you! She values openness in relationships, and demonstrates this through her characters.
Prior to becoming an author, Simone was a nurse. One of her pet peeves is reading erotica that gets simple anatomy wrong! She is continually bewildered by women who haven’t explored their own bodies. Another pet peeve is the mostly hung-up Victorian society prevalent in the U.S. and U.K., and she tries to do her part to change that by introducing people to new sexual and sensual experiences through her erotic writing. The activities in Simone’s books are quite realistic, as she has participated in most of these in ‘real life’, as surreal as it may seem.
Simone is currently completing the Experiences series, which will run an estimated 1,000,000 words! That is why she refers to it as an ‘epic’ romance, although each volume is intended to stand on its own, with a ‘happy for now’ ending. Experiences combines literary style and philosophical discussion by the characters with graphic portrayal of sex in all of its kinks and fetishes. You may not like all of the things Simone’s characters do … but neither do they. Their exploration of new experiences will hopefully motivate some readers to explore their own sexuality to a greater extent.
