Can you tell us a little about yourself?
Uh, I’m…well, I was a graduate student, but that sort of went up in smoke when we had to burn my mother after she was turned into what Nathan called a Shadow Immortal. I really don’t want to talk about that… I was working in the local library for the experience, since I was going for my Library Science masters, but I can’t say I’m too upset that I decided to take over the library at The Gatehouse instead of getting a job in a university. Here I can actually make a difference, and I don’t need any more schooling to prove my worth. If just having an organized stack of resources and some knowledge to offer could save even one life then everything that happened to me seems worth it. Of course a hot romance with someone on the side would be nice, like maybe that seriously dark, brooding, and sexy seal with the white hair…ahem. I mean, I’m totally happy with where I ended up!
What is your role in the story?
Dude in distress? Un-Awakened changeling sidekick? Library bitch—again, though Nathan and the others treat me way better than my boss at the library in Colorado ever did. I sort of got caught up in one of their adventures and decided to tag along. I offer knowledge support and (hopefully) endearing rambling on occasion, with a little hero worship for Nathan. It’s not my fault I thought he was asking me out the first time we met!
What is your favorite hobby?
Cursing. You have no idea how difficult it is to not drop a few F-bombs during this interview. It’s a compulsion.
What is the challenge you’re trying to overcome during the story?
Finding my place, and if I Awaken, that I’ll turn out like Jim did. Apparently changelings are always supposed to go evil when they Awaken and kill their families. Well, there’s no family left to kill if that happens to me, so…I just hope Nathan and the others are able to stop me if it’s needed, but I don’t know…Jim seems pretty confident anyone can overcome fate. He did.
If you could make one wish, what would it be?
That I make it to the end of the story. And maybe score a boyfriend. That would be nice…

Genre: Urban Fantasy / Paranormal Gay Romance
Nathan Grier returns from the Veil a changed man. The consequences of his time with Malak, the dark sidhe king, and the deal made to free him may be more than he can bear. The weakening of the Veil and new enemies foretell of a greater battle still ahead. With Nathan’s brother Jim now an Awakened changeling, and Nathan’s role in Malak’s plans finally revealed, Nathan’s love for fae hunter and incubus, Sasha Kelly, may not be enough to save him after all.
Incubus (The Incubus Saga – Book 1)
Nathan Grier only ever wanted a normal life, but for him, life, family, and love are anything but normal. On the other side of the Veil, dark and light fae exist outside the knowledge of most humans. Nathan was born human, but his twin brother Jim is a changeling. On the run since they were children, time for both of them is running out. Turning to fae hunter Sasha Kelly for help, Nathan must soon face his growing feelings for the other man while trying to save himself and his brother from a fate worse than death.
Nathan Grier’s dark fae bounty looms overhead. As he faces the very real threat of becoming a slave to the bounty’s owner, his brother Jim uses his changeling abilities more and more trying to save him. Every changeling throughout history turns evil once their powers manifest, meaning time may be running out for both of them as Jim nears True Awakening. Fae hunter and incubus, Sasha Kelly, is prophesized to save Nathan, but while Nathan has embraced his feelings for the other man, he fears their time together will be cut short—either from his impending fate…or Jim’s.
